This video is a brief overview of the lessons to be learned in this free online horse training video series. Jeanne makes it look easy with this horse, doesn't she? As you view the lessons, you'll appreciate the work and commitment it takes to perform these maneuvers flawlessly. Altogether, there will be about 20 of these videos after I have finished uploading them and preparing explanatory text. So, be sure to check back for more later!

How to Train or Fine Tune Your Horse Yourself:
Put 'power steering' on your horse!

Everyone who rides is, to some degree, a horse trainer. This is because the horse continues to learn or to change his responses to stimuli and his environment. This is why a horse that is 'perfect' when first brought home from the trainer's place reverts and seems to become less well trained after a few weeks have passed.

Horses regress to the level of the rider. A way to prevent this is to improve your own riding and training skills.

I recorded this series of videos several years ago while visiting my good friend Jeanne Dial in Oklahoma. Jeanne has accomplished a level of horsemanship that I admire. She is a gifted instructor and clinician and I think anyone would find their horsemanship and their seat improved after taking lessons from Jeanne or attending one of her clinics.

While reviewing these videos recently, I realized how useful they might be to other horsemen. No matter what your level of expertise and experience, I think you'll find these free horse training videos to be helpful and inspiring. Altogether I have about 20 video files in this series to upload, so check back often to view them all.  See link below to next video.
